Since 1910, Harvard Clubs across America have awarded Harvard
Prize Books to outstanding high school juniors, with the Harvard
Club of San Diego joining this effort in 1957.
In 2006, the students were asked to write a 500 word essay
entitled, “What Have I Really Learned in High School?”
On June 25th, the Harvard Club of San Diego held a reception in
Balboa Park honoring Prize Book Winners. Our alumni had the
opportunity to meet with the recipients, their families, their high
school counselors, principals and favorite teachers.
